White Knight Painting Ltd. Calls for Nominations for Third Annual Charity Paint Giveaway
VICTORIA, BC – White Knight Painting Ltd. has announced a call for nominations for their Third Annual Charity Paint Giveaway. Each year, White Knight Painting selects someone they feel could benefit from $3,000 worth of their donated painting and services. Past winners include The Cridge Brain Injury Program in 2009 and The Cridge Transition House for Women in 2010.
Bob Fuchs, President of White Knight Painting Ltd., says, “It’s always a difficult choice but we appreciate the input from the community. This way, we can work to effect positive change in the most amount of lives.”
From now until January 31, 2011, White Knight Painting is accepting nominations for individuals, families and organizations who have rooms and/or offices with tired, outdated paint and need a helping hand to freshen the decor.
Most of us don’t spend much time thinking about our home or office environments but their physical condition affects us in more ways than we realize. An upgraded home or office with the right colour and layout choices can lift our spirits and help us look at the world in a more positive, productive manner.
“Paint has a magical ability to make things new again,” says Fuchs. “Giving back to the community helps reinforce who we are: White Knights who follow the ancient code of honour, gallantry, loyalty and fairness to our customers and the community at large.”
White Knight Painting encourages the public to nominate deserving people and organizations for their Annual Charity Paint Giveaway. Members of the Greater Victoria community may either mail or email the nominee’s name and a brief description of how the nominee would benefit from a fresh paint job to White Knight Painting by no later than January 31.
